High Availability

As a virtual infrastructure becomes a larger part of any organization, the management of resources within that environment becomes increasingly mission critical. DynamicOps Virtual Resource Manager can run on a physical server or within a virtual machine. Deployed within a virtual machine it enjoys all the availability features of any application running in that environment. In fact, VRM’s components can be distributed across multiple virtual machines to achieve both greater scalability and availability, as shown in the example below. 

A network resident load balancer can be used to dynamically load balance the URL for VRM’s Web console across multiple servers. If one VRM server should fail, the workload is automatically transferred to the remaining available servers.
