About Us

DynamicOps Provides the Industry's Most Comprehensive IT Service Automation Software

Our Background
DynamicOps was founded in 2008 by Credit Suisse based on their five years of successful, large-scale production deployment with Virtual Resource Manager (VRM) software. The bank developed VRM to address the operational and governance challenges of rolling out virtualization technology across a global organization comprised of several distinct businesses.

Our Solution
DynamicOps® Virtual Resource Manager is IT service automation software that allows business units to rapidly create and deploy on-demand IT services, according to established central IT policy, on shared compute resources in private or public clouds.

Unlike other commercial offerings and in-house development, VRM is the most comprehensive solution available, is up and running on day one, and delivers ROI in months by reducing CAPEX and OPEX while increasing revenues.

This is because VRM was developed and hardened at Credit Suisse to reduce IT costs, accelerate the time-to-value of IT resources, and improve responsiveness to business opportunities by:

  • Automating the provisioning of existing and new service catalogue offerings with built-in, customizable process automation workflows, based on industry-standard best practices, that eliminate manual effort
  • Automating resource management throughout the lifecycle, including enforcement of central IT policies
  • Optimizing utilization by dynamically allocating shared virtual resources—server and desktop in private or public clouds—based on business needs and by automatically identifying, reclaiming, and reusing inactive resources
  • Enabling self-service provisioning at the business-unit level for cloud and on-demand services in a well-managed, governed, automated fashion
  • Orchestrating IT services across multi-vendor technologies, leveraging existing investments
  • Providing capacity management, cost transparency, and chargeback reporting

Our Ecosystem
Out of the box, VRM supports technologies from BMC, CA, Cisco, Citrix, Dell, HP, IBM, Microsoft, NetApp, Novell, Red Hat, VMWare, and others. In addition, the open .NET architecture used by VRM allows it to support new processes, enabling customers to continue performing existing business policies and practices—just more efficiently.

Our Customers
DynamicOps' customers range from large global enterprises to regional businesses, hospital groups, educational institutions, and government agencies. They adopt our software as an integral part of their data center provisioning, desktop and server virtualization, and cloud infrastructure projects.
